HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN CHORAL DEPARTMENT
About Us & Our Program
The HSE Choral Department strives to be a safe and inviting space for any and all students that are passionate about music, singing, dancing, or performing. While in the program, we tell our students we do not just want them to learn performance based skills- We want them to also learn important life skills they can take and apply to the real world and their careers whether music related or not. Our department is a family full of love, light, and laughter and we would love to welcome you!
Furthering Education
The HSE Choral Department believes furthering education through experiences, performances, and opportunities is important. Here is a glimpse at some of the ways we further our education past just the classroom for our students.
2026 NYC Trip
Royal Edition and Royal Sensation had the opportunity to travel to New York City! They explored and toured the city, visited Radio City Music hall (and were able to stand on the stage and meet a Rockette), performed at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, saw two Broadway shows, AND did a workshop with a current cast member of Hamilton!
Royal Edition and Royal Sensation did a workshop with Thayne Jasperson - a current cast member of Hamilton. Jasperson is the longest standing cast member in the production of Hamilton. He taught students choreography from a few of the numbers from the show. Everyone had a fantastic time!
